Plot: Born in East Berlin during the Cold War, Hansel had a difficult childhood marked by violence. Growing up, he comes to realize that he feels he is a woman, and a fan of philosophy and rock music. She decides to follow her path and her passions. Hedwig -her new female name- undergoes gender affirmation surgery with disastrous results. This will inspire the name of the musical band she founds: Angry Inch. She then moves to the United States, together with her American husband; after he leaves her, she decides to doggedly follow her path, and goes into theater where she meets Tommy. Hardly more than a teenager, he discovers a love for rock music thanks to Hedwig, steals her songs, and becomes famous. Sadly for Hedwig, things go wrong.

Plot: The film focuses on the intricate love triangle between Manuel (rich TV producer), Becky (famous singer always on the road) and Rebecca (TV announcer, Manuel's wife and Becky's daughter). Trying to make up for a non-existent relationship with her mother, Rebecca fixates on Femme Letal, a transgender woman, famous for her imitations of Becky. One night, Manuel dies in his chalet. Not believing Rebecca’s confession of guilt on live TV, a judge begins to investigate the case.
