Plot: Jody, an English soldier, is kidnapped by an I.R.A. terrorist commando to exchange him with an Irish leader. During his imprisonment, he befriends Fergus, his jailer. Jody, fearing death, begs the terrorist to contact Dil, his girlfriend, a hairdresser in London. Jody dies after being hit by a British army truck while trying to escape. Fergus abandons the I.R.A. and escapes to London, where he decides to meet Dil. He hides his identity from her, and his acquaintance with her dead partner. Without knowing that Dil is a transgender woman, he falls in love with her. A great love story with no shortage of secrets and twists.

Notes: The most famous song of the soundtrack, “The Crying Game”, was written by Boy George (famous English singer and historical leader of the Culture Club), with the production and musical collaboration of the Pet Shop Boys.
