Plot: In the Copenhagen of the Twenties, a story about an artist couple: portrait painter Gerda Wegener and landscape artist Einar Wegener. Theirs is a great love story, despite some tensions due to the disparity between his considerable fame and her less significant one, as well as the fact that they cannot conceive a child. One day, Gerda asks Einar to pose for her in place of a model and, almost as a joke, he assumes this identity also outside the home. At first with some embarrassment, then realizing it makes him feel good. His wife, initially in crisis, will become his main ally in the decision to transition. 

Notes: Adapted from the novel The Danish Girl (by David Ebershoff, 2000) and loosely based on the lives of Danish painters Lili Elbe (the first person to identify as transgender and to undergo gender affirmation surgery) and Gerda Wegener.
In 2016, Alicia Vikander won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, for her role as Gerda Wegener.
On September 5, 2015, The Danish Girl premiered at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.

A sparkling, finely deconstructed puzzle about the radiant and darker aspects of Trisha's life.

Dirty Sexy Money (TV Series)

Notes: Although the series, initially, was not a success with the audience, it was liked by critics and received several nominations in 2008 including: Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor (Donald Sutherland), GLAAD for Best Drama Series.
